The Oliva Serie 'O' was one of the first blends made by the Oliva family. The all Nicaraguan tobaccos used give this cigar a medium well-rounded body and aroma. A silky Nicaraguan Colorado wrapper finishes this cigar making it look almost as good as it tastes.
This unique-tasting, full-bodied blend is achieved by growing the same Cuban-seed Habano tobaccos in different regions of northern Nicaragua - producing a distinct flavor variation in each of these rich filler, binder and wrapper tobaccos. After a carefully controlled fermentation process, the tobaccos are aged a full five years.
Following its 2005 release, the Oliva Serie 'O' was named one of Cigar Aficionado's Top 50 Cigars. It still flourishes as it received a 92 rating in the September, 2013 issue of Cigar Aficionado! The magazine noted, "A Nicaraguan puro with a sun grown wrapper, tied with the Padron 1964 Diplomatico Maduro for best Churchill-sized cigar."
One of their first and longest running hits for Oliva and a must in have any humidor!
